What is a zine?
A zine is a collection of works in any art form (illustration, writing, etc.) that is centered around a certain theme/topic and is printed typically as a book or magazine. Zines are usually a collaboration between artists/writers and will hold a limited run on sales for both the physical and/or digital copies of the book. Our zine will contain fanwork for Genshin Impact!What is this zine’s theme?
In light of the recent hate crimes towards Asian Americans, this zine’s theme will focus on Genshin Impact characters supporting each other and the community.
We Gacha's title is a play on Genshin Impact's gacha system and I gotchu fam. We want to remind everyone that kindness goes a long way.Is this zine for charity or profit?
This is a for-charity zine; profits will go towards the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, a national non-profit organization that protects the civil rights of Asian Americans. A small portion of zine sales will cover production costs.Will this zine be NSFW/contain NSFW content?
NSFW content will not be allowed. The zine will be SFW and have a PG-13 rating.Are ships allowed?
Yes! Ships are allowed with the exception of controversial ships.How many contributors will participate?
Currently, we are planning to have 40 total contributors. 35 artists (1 cover artist included) and 5 writers.Are contributors allowed to collaborate with one another?
Absolutely! Contributors are allowed to collaborate with other zine contributors.Is the zine digital or physical? Will there be add-ons?
The zine will be available in both digital and physical. We will have add-ons available.What are your requirements for artists?
Artists are expected to create an original single-page piece of artwork that pertains to the zine’s theme. All artwork should be in RGB and CMYK and have a resolution of 300 DPI, be at least 1815px x 2565px in dimension and sent as a .psd file.What are your requirements for writers?
Writers are expected to write a SFW story at 2,000 words maximum (single spaced) that is based around the zine’s theme. Submissions should be sent as Google Doc files.Can I apply for multiple roles?
You can apply for multiple roles, but contributors will only be assigned one role if selected.Will contributors receive a copy of the zine?
All contributors are guaranteed a digital and physical copy of the zine.My question did not get answered.

Hello! My name is Vannessa. This is my first zine and I am so psyched to do this project with all of my friends. I feel like Nick Fury and these are my Avengers, my ideal team. We have all known each other, worked together, and supported each other for many years.
I recently graduated with a Master’s and am currently getting back into creative work. In my day job, I use Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects to make design materials. During my undergrad, I was a student organization leader and we raised money for scholarships. Hi, I’m Rosie! I’ve worked on two Promare zines as a writer (Promezine and the upcoming Maid Burnish zine) and this’ll be my first time working as a moderator. Outside of fandom, I have professional experience in maintaining productivity through framework methods. I also have some design skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. However, I am an artist, holding a BFA in painting/drawing (acrylics and Photoshop being my preferred mediums), and have experience with multi-artist collaborations via artist participation in the Beforus Homestuck fan album (circa 2016?).
